I was excited to come home all day on Friday because I knew I had an Ulta box sitting at my door. I don’t know about you guys…but I know that Ulta packages are definitely one of my favorite things to come home to. 😉
This month, Ulta is having it’s bi-annual “21 Days of Beauty” event. I look forward to this event every year! Each day, they feature 3 items that are discounted up to 50% off, and these items sell out quickly. I picked up a couple things from the sale, but for the most part I gave in to the temptations of “add to cart“.
I’m going to show you guys some of the things I got from this order! 95% of these, I haven’t tried yet. If any of you have tried these – let me know what you think! 🙂
This eyelash curler was one of the 21 Days of Beauty deals. Regularly $20, it was only $10! I’ve been needing a new one lately anyways, so this was the perfect timing.
This mascara was the second item that I got from the 21 Day sale. When I saw the flyer for it, I set an alarm in my phone for this day… Guys – this is my favorite mascara and it was 50% off for only $11. YES PLEASE!
Ahhhh, my favorite dry shampoo. It isn’t cheap – it’s $22 a can, but it is SO. WORTH. IT. They advertise this dry shampoo saying that it “actually cleans hair” and….it does. Love, love, love x a million!
This one is unfortunately going back. 😦 I tried it a couple times on my hand, and it’s a very dry formula that comes off as dark gray color. I do a thinner eyeliner into a wing, and I need something that has a free flowing, wet formula.
This was the last item I ordered from the 21 Day sale. This was a surprise purchase. I research all my makeup products prior to purchasing them, and this one I had never heard of. I scanned some reviews before I bought it, and they were all very positive. It was good for sensitive skin (a must for me) and it was SPF 50. I don’t wear foundation of any sort, so I’m mostly going to use this to set my concealer or as a finishing powder. This was also 50% off at 17.50!
To go along with my new powder, I ordered this powder brush. Real techniques is my favorite brand for makeup brushes, and they aren’t too expensive. This one in particular was $9.99.
I recently posted on Facebook asking my friends to recommend their liquid eyeliners. I’ve been on the hunt for a new liquid eyeliner, and I’ve been let down time and time again. Jenny has been recommending this NYX liner to me for a while, so I decided to give it a try! I will let you guys know what I think 🙂
This was another blind purchase. I hadn’t ever heard of it, saw it online, checked out the reviews, and decided to give it a chance. It was only $4.99, and my experiences with NYX products have been nothing but positive!
Last but not least, I decided to give these Ulta brand “gel eye liners” a try. When I opened the box, I was expecting brown and black. I didn’t remember ordering a blue shade, but I saw one called “Denim.” The brown is the perfect color, and the blue looks pretty from the swatches on my hand. We’ll see how it looks on!
I’m soooo excited to try out all of my new products! I’m sure I’ll let you guys know my opinion in an upcoming post, and please, if anyone loves a product they’re using – let a girl know! 🙂
My final beauty words of advice for the day: if you’re a dry shampoo user…
get. the. living. proof.!
